What we tint
Cars, trucks, homes, storefronts and the paint
Window film on anything with glass, and the two things that protect the paint under it. Pick the one you came for.
Car and truck window tint
Computer-cut LLumar film, from a full car at $289 to the ceramic range. Most cars are done the same day.
Auto tint and shades → ResidentialHome window film
Heat and glare off the west-facing glass without going dark inside. No sales tax on film fitted to a house.
Home film → CommercialOffice and storefront film
Lower cooling load on glass that faces the sun all afternoon, fitted around your opening hours.
Commercial film → ProtectionPaint protection film and ceramic coating
Self-healing film on the panels that take the rock chips, and a coating that keeps the finish easy to wash. Quoted by vehicle.
Get my quote → SafetySafety and security film
Holds broken glass together in a storm or a break-in. On coastal glass this one earns its keep.
Security film →The five films
What a full car costs, by film
Every side window and the back glass. The film is the only thing that moves the number, and none of them come in a darker shade for more money.
Metallized
Blocks UV, cuts glare, lifetime warranty. If budget decides it, this is the honest answer.
Nano-ceramic
The first ceramic step. Noticeably more heat stopped, no interference with phone or GPS signal.
Near clear
For drivers who want the heat gone and the glass looking untouched.
Ceramic, full range
Same money as Air, aimed the other way: every shade, with ceramic heat rejection behind it.
Top of the range
The most heat stopped per shade, and the one people pick when the car is a keeper.
Two fronts only, back glass alone, windshield, a single window and removal are all on the full price card. Prices before tax; vehicle tint is taxable at 7% in Bay County.
Before you pick a shade
Florida measures the window, not the film
Your glass already blocks some light from the factory. The film goes on top, and the two multiply. So the number on the box is not the number the officer’s meter reads.
35% film × 75% glass = a 26% window
That is why shade gets settled at our counter with a meter on your actual car, not over the phone.

Two owners, one address, every warranty kept
This shop opened as Johnny’s Tint Station in 1987, a one-bay garage on Highway 98, and for most of three decades it was a family business that Panama City kept coming back to. Keith Fosmire bought it in the spring of 2021, kept the address, and took on the obligations that came with it.
In 2023 a customer brought in a truck tinted here in 2018, under the previous owner, in a brand we no longer carry. The film was replaced under warranty in full. He paid for a visor strip and nothing else. A warranty written at this address is honored at this address.

Straight answers
What people ask before they book
How much does window tinting cost in Panama City?
At this shop a full car, every side window and the back glass, runs from $289 in LLumar ATR to $689 in Stratos. Two front windows start at $129 and a single window at $65. The whole card, including removal, is published at our pricing page, before tax.
What window tint is legal in Florida?
Florida’s limits apply to the finished window, not the film. Factory glass already blocks some light, so a film and the glass multiply and a 35% film on 75% glass is a 26% window. We meter your actual car at the counter before cutting, which is the only way to answer this honestly. The full explanation is here.
How do I get a quote?
Fill in the quote form with the year, make and model and what you want tinted. You get the figure and an available time back without coming in. If you would rather talk, call 850-785-8468.
How long does it take?
Most cars are done the same day, and a full car is usually around two hours. If you need it faster, say so when you call and we will tell you straight whether we can.
Do you tint homes and businesses?
Yes, both, and we come to you. Film fitted to a building counts as an improvement to the property in Florida, so there is no sales tax on that invoice. Home film and commercial film each have their own page.
Do you do paint protection film or ceramic coating?
Yes. Both are quoted by vehicle, because the panels and the paint decide the number. Call or text with the year, make and model and what you want covered, and we will send the figure and a time.
