Mexico Beach

Window tinting for Mexico Beach

Mexico Beach is about twenty five miles east of the shop along 98. Far enough that we plan the trip rather than pop over, close enough that we go regularly.

New glass, and a lot of it

Most of what stands in Mexico Beach today was built after 2018. That means modern construction, better framing, and far more glass than the houses it replaced, much of it facing the Gulf because that is the reason to build there.

Film is a good fit for exactly that situation. The windows are already impact rated and structurally sound; what they do not do is stop solar heat or the ultraviolet that takes the colour out of floors, rugs and furniture over a few seasons. A solar film handles both without changing the view you paid for.

One caution we would rather give before you buy than after. If you are on a rental programme or in an association, check what the glass is allowed to look like from outside before choosing a reflective film. There is almost always a film that works inside those rules, but it is easier to pick the right one first.

Rentals and second homes

If the house is let, film is one of very few upgrades that reduces a running cost with no guest having to do anything, and it does not wear out between bookings. If you are there a few weeks a year, it is worth scheduling around a trip so you are present when we quote, because what counts as a problem room is a judgement only you can make.

Vehicles

Worth combining with something else given the drive. Same published prices as everyone, and if the car came already tinted we will meter it while it is here.

Call or text 850-785-8468 and we will tell you when we are next heading that way. The shop is at 3601 US-98 in Panama City, Monday to Saturday 8am to 5pm.
