The warranty behind the film
LLumar backs its automotive window film with a lifetime limited manufacturer’s warranty against cracking, peeling, bubbling, demetallizing, and unusual color change. The Tint Station is an authorized LLumar SelectPro dealer, so that coverage is registered to you and honored right here on Highway 98.

What is covered
This is the warranty on the film itself, the defects LLumar is responsible for. It is not accident coverage.
CrackingCovered
Film that cracks under normal use is a manufacturer defect, and it is covered.
Peeling and bubblingCovered
Film that lifts, bubbles, or separates from the glass falls under the warranty.
Unusual color changeCovered
A shift in color, like fading toward purple, is a defect LLumar stands behind.
DemetallizingCovered
If the metallized layer in the film breaks down and turns hazy, that is covered too.
Coverage applies when the film is used as intended. If the tint job itself violates state law, the manufacturer’s warranty through LLumar is voided, which is one reason we meter every window and stay legal on the front glass. Applies in the USA and Canada; certain restrictions apply, and LLumar’s own terms govern.
Why the installer matters
LLumar film is made in the USA by Eastman Chemical Company. Even the best film will not perform if it is not put on right, which is why the warranty runs through an authorized dealer rather than a roll of film off the internet.

How a claim actually works
You do not sit on hold with a manufacturer hotline and you do not need a folder of paperwork. Call or text 850-785-8468, or stop by the shop at 3601 US-98, Panama City, and we will look at it. If the film is failing, that is the warranty and it costs you nothing. If something happened to the film, a rock chip, a scratch, glass that got replaced, that is different, and we will tell you plainly which one it is before any money comes up.
Because the warranty is LLumar’s and nationwide, any authorized LLumar dealer in the country can honor it, including ours on film another LLumar dealer installed. Ask us and we will walk you through it.
Damage the manufacturer does not cover
A manufacturer’s warranty covers defects, never accidents. For damage after the fact, a rock chip, a nick, vandalism, a break-in, we sell our own add-on at the counter that replaces the affected film, parts and labor, whoever was at fault. It is ours alone, it goes on at the time of the job, and it is separate from LLumar’s warranty. Ask about it when you book and we will tell you what it covers on your vehicle and what it costs.
This page covers window film: automotive, home, office and storefront. Paint protection film and ceramic coating carry their own manufacturer warranties, separate from LLumar’s, and we go through those when the job is quoted.
