Johnny’s Tint Station opens
A one-bay garage at this end of Highway 98, run by a man everybody in Panama City simply called Johnny. His wife ran the desk and his father worked the shop. People who first came in during the nineties were still booking twenty years later.

Keith Fosmire buys the business
He kept the name for a couple of years and he kept the address, because what he was buying was thirty-four years of drivers trusting one shop. Johnny has retired out of it completely, and every installer on the bench today was hired by Keith.

The shop switched to LLumar film after Keith took over, and every job since carries LLumar’s lifetime manufacturer warranty, registered to you. Tint from the Johnny’s years is a different brand and is not under that warranty. More on the warranty page.
A handover you can check
The customers who knew both owners wrote it down
You do not have to take our word for how the handover went. One customer, back for a second truck in ceramic, said the previous owner and the new owner and staff had both knocked it out of the park. That is the review we are proudest of, because continuity is the hard part of buying somebody else’s shop.
What carried across was the address and the standard. The film did not. Everything installed here today is LLumar, and the warranty on it is the manufacturer’s, not a promise that depends on who owns the building.
What changed in 2021
One rule: be an open book
Say what the films actually do, say so when the cheaper one is the right one, and say the things a customer would never find out on their own.

Ten minutes working out which film suits the vehicle beats selling the dearest one on the wall. Sometimes that is the entry film, and we say so.

Move out of state and it moves with you.
The film is cut by computer to the pattern for your exact glass, so no blade touches your windows, paint or seals. The ceramic films block 99% of ultraviolet light and a serious share of the infrared heat that makes a parked car unbearable, without going dark to do it.
